Restaurant event booking for tasting menus and special nights

Sell a tasting menu, a quiz night or a festive party through your own booking page. Each event gets its own dates, sittings, guest limit and deposit, and a link you can share, while your regular meals carry on as normal.

How it works

Events in three steps

  1. Create the event

Give it a name and a date, add its sittings, or a whole run of them at once, and set a guest limit.

  2. Share its link

Every event has its own page and link for posts, emails and a printed QR code. Book now opens your booking page on that event.

  3. Watch it fill

A date switches to Fully booked as the last place goes, and reopens if someone cancels.

Special nights, sorted

Events without the spreadsheet

Events bring in guests on quiet nights and pay for themselves up front, once the booking side looks after itself.

Its own rules

Each event has its own date, sittings, guest limit and optional card or deposit, and your weekly meals stay exactly as they are.

Setting up an event

Take payment up front

Set the per-person deposit to the full price and guests pay as they book: a £45 menu for four is £180 at booking.

Taking full payment

The same night, every week

Dates with the same name share one link. Add up to 12 dates at once from the phone app.

Several dates at once

One page for a whole season

Event groups put differently named events on one page, such as a run of festive menus.

Phone bookings too

Book guests in from the diary, including for events you keep off your booking page.

Booking from the diary

Say what to expect

Add a public notice with the price, the menu or the dress code.

Your event rules

Limits and deposits apply to online bookings; your team can still book anyone in.

  • Guest limit: per area, with a cap on each sitting if you like
  • Sittings: one at a time, or a range such as every 30 minutes
  • Deposit or card: per person or a flat fee
  • Dogs: switch the dog question off for a formal night
  • Several dates: same name, same link, same rules
  • Bookings are safe: deleting an event keeps its bookings

Frequently asked questions

Can I sell tickets for a restaurant event?

In effect, yes: set the event's per-person deposit to the full price and guests pay when they book. It is labelled a deposit, and needs Stripe connected.

How do I stop an event overbooking online?

Set a guest limit per area and any sitting caps, and the event page switches to Fully booked on its own. Your team can still book past the limit.

Can I run the same night every week?

Yes. Give each date the same name and they share one link. The phone app adds up to 12 dates at once.

Can I share an event on social media?

Yes. Every event has its own page and link, and a printed QR code keeps working between runs as long as the event keeps its name.

Can I take phone bookings for an event?

Yes, from the diary. The event's deposit is not asked for on those, so send the guest a payment link.
