Get more reviews for your restaurant, and hear about problems first

NomNom emails every guest after their visit to ask how it went. Happy guests are one tap from your Google or Tripadvisor page, and when someone has a disappointing evening, the manager hears about it privately while there is still time to put it right.

How it works

Review requests in three steps

  1. Switch on review requests

Pick when the email goes out, from an hour to a week after the visit, and write your own intro.

  2. Guests rate their visit

Four or five stars brings up buttons for Google and Tripadvisor. One to three stars also opens a private message box to the manager.

  3. You hear first

A low rating with a message reaches you straight away, by email and on every phone signed in to the NomNom app.

More reviews, fewer surprises

Reviews without the awkward ask

Most happy guests mean to leave a review and never get round to it. A friendly email at the right moment does the asking for you.

One tap to Google

If you picked your Google listing at signup, your review link fills itself in. Otherwise paste it in once.

Problems reach you privately

A lower score opens a private line to the manager, and your public review link still shows, so every guest can review you.

Alerts on your phone

Every phone signed in to the NomNom app is told about a low rating, and replying to the alert email goes straight to the guest.

Low-rating alerts

Sent at the right moment

Choose any time from one hour to one week after the booking. The default is 24 hours.

Only real visits

One request per booking with an email address. Cancelled bookings and no-shows are skipped.

In your own words

Write your own intro and footer, and preview the email before you switch it on.

Your review settings

Set it up once and it runs on its own after every service.

  • Timing: one hour to one week after the visit
  • Your words: your own intro and footer text
  • Where happy guests go: Google, Tripadvisor or both
  • Send one by hand: from a booking’s Messages
  • A gentle start: switching it on reaches back only about three days
  • Ratings stay private: only reviews guests choose to post are public

Frequently asked questions

How do I get more Google reviews for my restaurant?

NomNom emails every guest after their visit. Those who rate four or five stars get a one-tap button to your Google review page.

Can I send only happy guests to Google?

No, that is against Google's rules. Every guest sees your public review link, and lower scores also reach the manager privately.

How quickly will I hear about a bad visit?

Straight away if the guest writes a message, or after about 30 minutes if they only leave a rating, by email and on your phone.

When does the review request go out?

At a time you pick, from one hour to one week after the booking, 24 hours by default. It is never sent for cancelled bookings or no-shows.

Are the ratings made public?

No. Only the reviews guests choose to post on Google or Tripadvisor are public.
