Your team's sign-in link for NomNom Web

Staff who sign in to NomNom Web with a username need your team’s own sign-in link. The main address, app.nomnom-app.net, only takes an email address, so a username typed there won’t work. Your team link is always on the People & Access screen, ready to copy and pass on.

In NomNom Web: account menu (top right) → People & Access. In the phone app: Settings → People & Access. Only admins can open People & Access.

What the link looks like

It’s app.nomnom-app.net/c/ followed by your team code. The sign-in page it opens asks for a Username or email and shows your business’s name under Sign in, so your team can tell they’re in the right place. If you run more than one venue, one link covers them all: a Site box on the page lets each person choose where to start.

A few venues have a link ending /r/ and a code instead. It works the same way for usernames.

Copy or share the link

1. Open People & Access. In NomNom Web, click your name (or initials) at the top right and choose People & Access. In the phone app, go to Settings and tap People & Access.

2. Find the Team sign-in link card. It’s at the top, above your team. It says Your team signs in to NomNom Web at this link, with their username and password.

3. Click Copy. You’ll see Link copied. Paste it into a message, your staff group chat or a note for the rota. In the phone app there’s a Share button too, which opens your phone’s usual share options.

What your team does with it

1. Open the link on a computer. NomNom Web runs in a desktop browser, not on phones or tablets (see Why can’t I open NomNom Web on my phone or iPad?).

2. Sign in. They type their username and password and click Sign in. On their own computer, they can tick Keep me signed in on this device.

3. Bookmark it. Then nobody has to ask for it again.

Someone you’ve just added has no password yet. Give them one with Reset password on their page in People & Access (see Resetting a member of staff’s password), or email them their sign-in details (see Emailing a member of staff their sign-in details).

Good to know

  • It isn’t a password. The link only opens the sign-in page: everyone still needs their own username and password, so it’s fine to share it with your team.
  • Admins can use it too, with their email address. Admins can also sign in at app.nomnom-app.net; staff with a username can’t.
  • It’s in your welcome email as well, behind the Sign in to NomNom button (see Your welcome email: signing in for the first time).
  • Can’t see the card? Check you’re signed in as an admin. The card stays hidden while it loads, and if NomNom can’t find a link for your venue. If it never appears, contact NomNom support.
  • Phones sign in differently, with an access code rather than this link: see Signing in on another device.
  • Still can’t get in? See A team member can’t sign in to NomNom Web.
