If you’re moving on from NomNom, there are four things to do: keep a copy of your bookings, cancel your subscription, take your booking links down, and let us know. None of it is urgent on the day, because everything keeps working until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
Keep a copy of your bookings
1. Download a Data Export. In NomNom Web, click your account button in the top-right corner, choose Admin dashboard, then Data Export → Generate export now → Download. You get every booking, past and future, with each guest’s contact details, as a spreadsheet. See Downloading a backup of your bookings (Data Export) for what’s in it and what isn’t.
2. Save your invoices. Your NomNom invoices are listed on Billing and Invoices in Settings (see Changing the card you pay with, and finding your invoices). Download any you need for your accounts.
Cancel your subscription
3. Cancel it on Billing. Click your account button, choose Account & Billing, click Cancel Subscription and confirm. It runs to the end of the period you’ve paid for, you keep using NomNom until then, and you aren’t charged again. Full steps are in Cancelling your NomNom subscription.
In NomNom Web: account button (top right) → Account & Billing → Cancel Subscription.
Changed your mind before the end date? Click Resume subscription on the same screen and it will renew as normal.
Take your booking links down
4. Remove the links guests book through. Your booking page doesn’t switch itself off when your subscription ends, so take down the booking button or form on your website, and the booking link on your Google profile and social media pages.
5. Come off NomNom Discover. If you’re listed, turn off List on NomNom Discover in Settings → Online Booking & Discover (see Listing your restaurant on NomNom Discover). If you have the Reserve button on Google, it’s removed at the nightly update once your subscription has ended (see Getting the Reserve button on Google (Reserve with Google)).
6. Look after bookings still to come. Let guests with future bookings know, and refund any deposits they’ve paid if you won’t be honouring them (see Refunding a deposit or card payment).
Let us know
7. Email us. Write to support@nomnom-app.net, ideally from your account’s email address, and tell us which venue is leaving. We’ll close the account for you and answer any questions about your data. If you’d like your guests’ details deleted too, say so in your email.
Good to know
- Admins only. Only admins can see Billing and the admin dashboard (see What Admin, Standard and Read-only staff can do).
- Download before your end date. Make your export while everything is still running, so you’re not relying on access afterwards.
- More than one venue? Each venue has its own subscription and its own export. Cancelling one doesn’t affect the others (see Running more than one venue on NomNom).
- Your Stripe account is yours. If you took deposits or sold gift vouchers, your Stripe account and the money paid into it stay with you.
- No part refunds. Cancelling doesn’t refund the rest of the period you’ve paid for.
- Coming back later? Click Set Up Subscription on Billing to start again.
