Cancelled your NomNom subscription, then changed your mind? As long as your end date hasn’t arrived, you can take the cancellation back yourself with one click. Your subscription carries on as if you’d never cancelled, and renews on its usual date.
Resume it in NomNom Web
1. Open Billing. Click your account button in the top-right corner and choose Account & Billing. Settings opens on Billing.
2. Check it hasn’t ended yet. A cancelled subscription that’s still running shows Status Active (or Trial), a row saying Ends on with the date, and the note Your subscription has been cancelled and won’t renew. Everything keeps working until it ends.
3. Click Resume subscription. It’s where the Cancel Subscription button used to be.
4. Check it worked. You’ll see Subscription resumed. It will renew as normal. The date row goes back to Current period ends, the note disappears, and Cancel Subscription is back in case you need it later.
In NomNom Web: account button (top right) → Account & Billing → Resume subscription. Billing isn’t in the phone app.
What happens when you resume
- Nothing is charged now. Your next payment is taken on your usual renewal date, the one that showed as Ends on, with the card already on file.
- Nothing else changes. Your bookings, booking page and settings were never affected by the cancellation, and they carry on the same.
- During a free trial, if you subscribed early and then cancelled, resuming works the same way: your first payment is taken when the trial ends.
If there’s no Resume button
- You see Cancel Subscription instead → your subscription isn’t set to end, so there’s nothing to resume.
- Status says Cancelled → the end date has passed and the subscription has finished. It can’t be resumed, but you can start a new one with Set Up Subscription. See Why can’t I subscribe from the phone app? for the steps.
- You don’t see Billing at all → only admins can open it. Ask an admin at your venue. See What Admin, Standard and Read-only staff can do.
If you click Resume subscription just as the period runs out, you may see This subscription has already ended. Set up a new subscription to carry on. Close Settings and open Billing again to see where things stand. Couldn’t resume the subscription. Please try again. means it didn’t go through: check your connection and click again.
Good to know
- Admins only, NomNom Web only. The phone app has no Billing screen, and the admin dashboard has no Resume button.
- Changed card? If the card on file has expired or changed, click Update payment method on Billing as well, so the renewal goes through. See Changing the card you pay with, and finding your invoices.
- Cancelling again. You can cancel again whenever you like: see Cancelling your NomNom subscription.
