Cancelling your NomNom subscription

You can cancel your NomNom subscription whenever you like. It doesn’t stop straight away: it runs to the end of the period you’ve already paid for, and everything keeps working until then. After that it simply isn’t renewed, and you’re not charged again.

Cancel in NomNom Web

1. Open Billing. Click your account button in the top-right corner and choose Account & Billing. Settings opens on Billing.

2. Click Cancel Subscription. It’s the red button under Update payment method.

3. Check the date and confirm. A window tells you the date your subscription will end, which is the end of the period you’ve paid for. Click Cancel Subscription to go ahead, or Keep if you’ve changed your mind.

In NomNom Web: account button (top right) → Account & Billing → Cancel Subscription. Billing isn’t in the phone app.

What you’ll see afterwards

Nothing changes for your team or your guests. On Billing, Status still says Active, the date row now reads Ends on, and a note underneath says your subscription has been cancelled and won’t renew. In place of the Cancel Subscription button you’ll see Resume subscription, in case you change your mind.

On the end date the subscription finishes and Status changes to Cancelled. Billing then offers Set Up Subscription again, and you may see a notice at the top of NomNom Web: Your NomNom subscription has ended. Subscribe again to keep using NomNom. Admins see a Subscribe button on it.

Cancelling from the admin dashboard

You can do the same in the admin dashboard: choose Admin dashboard from the account menu in NomNom Web, then open Subscription. Under Manage subscription, click Cancel subscription, then Confirm. You’ll see All set., and the date it Ends on under Status.

In the admin dashboard: Subscription → Cancel subscription → Confirm.

Changed your mind?

Until your end date, you can take the cancellation back. On Billing in NomNom Web, click Resume subscription. You’ll see Subscription resumed. It will renew as normal., and the date row goes back to Current period ends. The admin dashboard doesn’t have this button, so use NomNom Web.

If your subscription has already ended, click Set Up Subscription on Billing to start a new one. There’s more on that screen in Changing the card you pay with, and finding your invoices.

Good to know

  • Admins only. Only people with the Admin role can see Billing (see What Admin, Standard and Read-only staff can do).
  • No part refunds. Cancelling doesn’t refund the period you’ve already paid for. You keep using NomNom until it ends instead.
  • Each venue is separate. Cancelling one venue’s subscription doesn’t touch your other venues.
  • Still on your free trial? If you never set up a subscription, there’s nothing to cancel and nothing to pay. Billing shows No active subscription and no Cancel button.
  • Your invoices stay. Past invoices are still listed on Billing and on Invoices.
  • Keep a copy of your data. In the admin dashboard, Data Export → Generate export now makes a copy of your customer and reservation data to download.
