Everything to do with paying for NomNom lives on the Billing screen in NomNom Web: your subscription status, the card we charge, and your invoices. Card expired, or changed bank? You can sort it out yourself in a couple of minutes.
Finding Billing
Click your account button in the top-right corner of NomNom Web and choose Account & Billing. Settings opens straight on Billing, which shows your Status and, if you pay by card, the card we charge under PAYMENT METHOD.
In NomNom Web: account button (top right) → Account & Billing, or Settings → PAYMENTS → Billing
Changing your card
1. Click Update payment method. You'll find it below your card details.
2. Enter your new details on Stripe's page. Stripe, the payment company we use, opens in a new tab. Your card or bank details go straight to Stripe and never pass through NomNom.
3. Come back to NomNom. When you see All done, switch back to your NomNom tab, then close Settings and open Billing again to check the card shown.
If a payment has failed, your Status shows Past due. Use Update payment method to give us a new card.
Your invoices
Your invoices are listed at the bottom of Billing, newest first. The Invoices entry just below Billing in Settings shows the same list.
1. Pick the year. Click the year beside INVOICES (top right on the Invoices page) and choose this year or one of the five before it.
2. Click an invoice. NomNom fetches a fresh copy from Stripe and the PDF opens in a new browser tab, ready to save or print.
Still on your free trial?
Until you subscribe, Billing shows No active subscription, with no card to change or invoices yet. Click Set Up Subscription when you're ready. Subscribe with more than a couple of days of your trial left and you keep the rest of it: the first payment is taken when it ends.
If somebody else pays the bills, click Copy subscription link and send it to them. It works for seven days, and they don't need to sign in to NomNom.
Good to know
- Only people with the Admin role can see Billing and Invoices.
- Billing isn't in the phone app. Use NomNom Web on a computer.
- Stripe, also under PAYMENTS, is the account you take guest deposits through. Changing your card on Billing doesn't affect it.
- An invoice link works for a day. If a saved one says it has expired, click the invoice in Billing again for a fresh one.
- Buying SMS credits is covered in Texting guests and managing SMS credits.
