NomNom Discover is NomNom’s free public directory of restaurants that take bookings through NomNom. Listing yourself gives you a page on nomnom-app.net with your photos, description, menus, opening times and contact details, plus your own booking form, so guests can book without leaving it. Nothing is listed until you switch it on, and you can take it down whenever you like.
List your restaurant
1. Open Online Booking & Discover. In NomNom Web, open Settings from the account menu at the top right (or the button at the bottom of the left-hand bar) and choose Online Booking & Discover.
2. Check your heading and description. Heading and Description, under YOUR RESTAURANT at the top, show on both your booking page and your Discover page, so you only write them once.
3. Add your town. Scroll down to LISTING DETAILS and click Town or city. It’s required, because it decides which Discover page you appear on. Your restaurant’s name comes from Restaurant Details.
4. Pick your cuisines. Click Cuisine and tick the styles that describe your food, or type your own under ANYTHING ELSE, then click Save. The first one you pick shows next to your name.
5. Welcome dogs? Turn on Show as dog friendly to add a Dog friendly tag to your page (see Welcoming guests with dogs).
6. Add photos. Under DISCOVER PHOTOS, click Photo 1, Photo 2 or Photo 3 and choose Choose from library. Your booking-page header photo is shown as well; if its Display is set to Logo, your logo is shown whole at the top of the page instead. In the phone app you can also use Take photo.
7. Switch it on. Turn on List on NomNom Discover in the NOMNOM DISCOVER section. Your page is live straight away.

Your Discover page
Under YOUR DISCOVER PAGE, click View your listing to open it, or Browse the directory to see it among other restaurants. Your page shows your heading and description, photos, cuisines, menus, the times you serve each meal (taken from your booking times), your address with a map and directions, your phone number, website and social links, and a Book a table card with your booking form. If NomNom has your Google listing, your Google star rating shows too (see Your Google rating on NomNom Discover).
Its web address
Your page’s address looks like nomnom-app.net/discover/padstow/the-red-lion, and it’s safe to share. The last part is made from your restaurant’s name the first time you save your listing, and it doesn’t change after that, even if you rename your restaurant. If you correct your town, the town part updates to match, and links to the old address still take people to your page.
Good to know
- Free to list. There’s no commission and no per-cover fee, and bookings made on your page come into NomNom like any other online booking.
- Taking it down. Turn off List on NomNom Discover and your page comes down. Your details are kept, so if you list again you get the same address. If your NomNom account is closed or suspended, your listing comes off Discover within the hour.
- Renamed your restaurant? Your Discover page picks up the new name as soon as you save it in Restaurant Details. Its web address stays the same.
- Your booking link. If your booking page is Discover-style, listing yourself sends your booking link straight to your Discover page (see Your booking page style: classic or Discover-style).
- Keeping it up to date. Your address and phone number come from Restaurant Details, your social links from Social Media and your menus from Menus, so change them there.
- Not saved? If you see Add your town or city first, fill in Town or city and try again. A town or name with no letters or numbers in it can’t be used in a web address.
