Your booking link — the one you copy with Copy booking link and share on your website, Google profile or social media — shows one of two pages: the classic booking page or a Discover-style page. NomNom sets which one you have; there’s no setting for it in NomNom Web or the phone app.
The two styles
Classic is the original booking page: your header photo, heading and description, then the booking steps under Reserve Your Table.
Discover-style is laid out like a NomNom Discover page. It has your photos, heading and description, cuisines, menus, the times you serve each meal, a Find us section with a map, and your booking form in a Book a table card. It uses what you’ve set up under Online Booking & Discover, including your Discover photos, cuisines and dog-friendly tag, even if you’re not listed.
New venues start on the Discover-style page. Venues that joined earlier may still have the classic page. To see which you have, open Online Booking & Discover and click Test Online Booking.

How it works with NomNom Discover
If you’re listed on NomNom Discover, your booking link takes guests straight to your Discover page, so there’s one page rather than two copies of it. Take your listing down and the link goes back to showing the page itself.
If you’re not listed, your booking link shows the same design privately. It has no link to NomNom Discover and doesn’t mention it, it isn’t listed anywhere, and it shows no Google star rating (the Read reviews on Google link is still there). Only people with your link see it.

Getting to the classic page
Add ?direct=1 to the end of your booking link — for example book.nomnom-app.net/a1b2c3d4?direct=1 — and it always shows the classic page, whatever your style. It’s a handy fallback if a guest ever has trouble with the Discover-style page. If you’d rather your booking link always showed the classic page, get in touch with us.
Good to know
- Bookings work the same. Both styles use your booking form, with the same times, deposits and rules.
- Your website’s booking form isn’t affected. The form you’ve added to your own website stays as it is (see Putting the booking form on your own website).
- Forwarding comes first. If NomNom has set your booking link to forward guests to your own website, it still does, whatever your style.
- Change an existing booking appears on both styles while you allow online changes, so guests can ask for their change link from either page (see Letting guests change their own booking online).
- Test Online Booking opens your booking link, so once you’re listed it opens your Discover page.
