NomNom has one plan, with every feature, at £29.99 a month per venue, plus VAT. There’s a 14-day free trial, no setup fee and no contract.
What you pay
- £29.99 a month for each venue. Every venue has its own subscription, so two venues means two subscriptions.
- Plus VAT. VAT is added on top when you pay. For a UK venue that’s 20%, so £35.99 a month in total.
- Monthly, with no contract. You pay a month at a time, in advance, and can cancel whenever you like. It ends at the end of the month you’ve paid for (see Cancelling your NomNom subscription).
- 14 days free first. Nothing is charged during your trial unless you subscribe. Subscribe with more than a couple of days left and the first payment waits until the trial ends.
Everything else is included: NomNom Web, the iPhone, iPad and Android apps on as many devices as you like, commission-free online booking, deposits and card holds through Stripe, gift vouchers, and a download of your bookings whenever you want one (Data Export).
What costs extra
- SMS credits. Texts to your guests use SMS credits, which you buy separately in packs, with VAT added. A new UK venue starts its trial with 50 free credits. See Texting guests and managing SMS credits.
- Gift vouchers sold online. NomNom takes a small platform fee on each voucher sold through your voucher page, and Stripe takes its card fee. Both are explained under PLATFORM FEES in Settings → Vouchers, and each sale’s fee is itemised in your Stripe dashboard. Vouchers you sell in person have no platform fee (see Selling gift vouchers in person).
- Stripe’s card fees. NomNom adds nothing to your guests’ deposits or other card payments. Stripe charges its own processing fee on them, which comes out of your Stripe account (see Connecting card payments with Stripe).
How you pay
1. Click Set Up Subscription. It’s on Billing in NomNom Web.
2. Check it’s the right venue. A page opens showing SUBSCRIPTION FOR and your venue’s name. Click Continue to payment.
3. Pay on Stripe’s page. Enter your card and your billing address. You can add your business’s VAT number there, and a promotion code if we’ve given you one. If Direct Debit is on offer, you’ll see it on the same page as an alternative to card.
In NomNom Web: account button (top right) → Account & Billing → Set Up Subscription. In the admin dashboard: Subscription → Subscribe now. Billing isn’t in the phone app.
VAT and your invoices
Stripe works out the VAT from the billing address you enter. Your subscription invoices, showing the VAT, are listed at the bottom of Billing, ready to open or save (see Changing the card you pay with, and finding your invoices).
Good to know
- Several venues? Set each one up from that venue’s own Billing. The page before Stripe’s names the venue, so you can check you’re paying for the right one.
- Somebody else pays? Click Copy subscription link on Billing and send it to them. It works for 7 days, and they don’t need to sign in to NomNom.
- Your invoices are the record. They always show exactly what you’ve been charged.
- Price changes. If our price changes, we give you at least 30 days’ notice, and it applies from your next renewal.
- Admins only. Only people with the Admin role can see Billing.
