The weekly summary is an email from NomNom to you, not to your guests. It rounds up last week at your venue: how many guests you had, how many didn’t turn up, where your bookings came from, your busiest days and times, and how many text credits you have left.
Who gets it, and which week
It comes from NomNom, with a subject such as The Red Lion - Weekly Summary (22 Sep - 28 Sep). It goes to the address under EMAIL SENDER in Settings → Email Settings, or to your venue’s main email address if that’s empty. It always covers the last full week, Monday to Sunday.
This week at a glance
These figures count bookings for dates in that week, including walk-ins. Covers means adults plus children.
- COVERS and RESERVATIONS. Cancelled bookings are left out; no-shows are counted, because they were booked. Under each you’ll see the change on the week before, such as 12% vs last week, or Level with last week.
- NO-SHOWS, and what share of the week’s bookings they were. A booking counts when its status is one you’ve set to count as a no-show, or when the status is called No show. See Creating your own booking statuses. If older summaries always showed 0 no-shows, that was a fault, and it’s fixed.
- CANCELLATIONS: bookings for that week that were cancelled, as a share of all the week’s bookings, cancelled ones included.
- AVERAGE PARTY SIZE: covers divided by bookings.
The rest of the email
- Where bookings came from. The week’s bookings split three ways. Online is guests who booked themselves, on your booking page, your website or Google. Walk-in is walk-ins you seated. Phone is everything else your team entered, however it reached you.
- Busiest days, Peak dining times and Party sizes: covers for each day of the week, your busiest arrival times by the half hour, and how many bookings were for each party size. Now and then these charts are left out; the figures above are always there.
- Bookings taken this week. Bookings made during the week, for any date, with their guests and the same Online, Phone and Walk-in split. It shows how busy the phone and your booking page were, even in a quiet week for covers.
- SMS CREDITS. Credits Used this week and your Remaining balance, in amber under 50 and red under 10, with a Top Up Credits button. See Texting guests and managing SMS credits.
- News from NomNom. During a free trial there’s a reminder with a Subscribe button, and there may be an offer from us near the bottom.

Stopping the weekly summary
1. Click Unsubscribe from weekly summaries, the small link at the very bottom of the email.
2. Confirm. A page asks Stop weekly summaries? Click Stop the weekly summary. You’ll see Done.
Only the weekly summary stops. Your guests’ emails, your booking copies and every other email carry on as before.
Good to know
- Starting it again. Email support@nomnom-app.net and we’ll switch it back on.
- This link isn’t valid. The unsubscribe link is unique to your venue. If it’s been cut short or changed, use the link in your latest summary, or email us and we’ll stop it for you.
- Sent by our team. The NomNom team sends the summary rather than it going out automatically, so the day it arrives can vary.
- Replying. It comes from a no-reply address, so to ask about it, email support@nomnom-app.net.
