Your online booking page is built from settings you already have. If something on it is wrong or missing, find it below. Your link opens either the classic page or the Discover-style page (see What your guests see when they book online, step by step); where they differ, it says so.
In NomNom Web and the phone app: Settings → Online Booking & Discover, Restaurant Details or Menus, and Configuration → Areas.
Your name, picture and story
- Name, address and phone come from Settings → Restaurant Details. The classic page shows your name at the top with your address and postcode under it.
- The picture at the top is your header image. See Adding a header photo or logo to your booking page.
- Your story is the Heading and Description under YOUR RESTAURANT, at the top of Online Booking & Discover. On the classic page they make up About Us: the heading in large type, then the description, with Read more if it’s long and split into paragraphs. On the Discover-style page the heading sits under your name in the header, and the description goes under About.
Contact details, map and social links
- Contact Us, on the classic page, lists your Website, Phone and Email, leaving out any that are blank. The website and phone come from Restaurant Details. The email is your Sender Email, under EMAIL SENDER in Settings → Email Settings, or the address on your NomNom account if you haven’t set one.
- Find Us shows a map with your address. On the Discover-style page it also has Get directions, your phone and your website, and your number appears under the booking form after Prefer to call?
- Social icons show under Connect With Us on the classic page (Instagram and Facebook) and in Find us on the Discover-style page (X and TikTok too). They come from Settings → Social Media. Your emails don’t show them.
Menus
Under Settings → Menus, click Add, type a NAME such as Dinner Menu, choose URL to link to a menu online or File to upload a PDF or picture, then click Save. Each menu appears by name under Menus and opens in a new tab; the Discover-style page shows them as cards. With no menus, the section is left out.
Areas
Your area names from Configuration → Areas head the times on the time step, with any description you’ve written under the name. An area with its Online switch off never appears. See Showing meal and room names on your booking page’s times.
The booking form
Most of the form is set under BOOKING OPTIONS and ONLINE BOOKING PARTY SIZE in Online Booking & Discover:
- Allow notes adds the notes box, Children selection the + Add children button and Allergen selection the + Add allergens button.
- Dog bookings and High chairs available add their questions to the first step.
- Maximum guests (or Maximum adults and Maximum children) is the biggest party guests can pick, and your Large party message shows under the guest buttons.
- Time format and Calendar starts on, under Settings → Booking Page Date & Time, set how the times and calendar look.
Terms and privacy
Every booking ends with a tick box linking to your terms and privacy policy, from TERMS & PRIVACY in Online Booking & Discover. The classic page also shows your terms in full in a Terms & Conditions box. See Adding your booking terms and privacy policy.
Only on the Discover-style page
- Cuisine, town and a dog-friendly tag: from Cuisine, Town or city and Show as dog friendly, under LISTING DETAILS in Online Booking & Discover.
- Photos: up to three from DISCOVER PHOTOS, which also fade through the header.
- Good to know: each meal’s online booking times and days.
- Reviews: links to your Google reviews and, if you’ve added a Tripadvisor link in Email Settings, Tripadvisor.
Good to know
- Most changes show straight away, once the page is refreshed, Restaurant Details included. A new header image can take a few minutes.
- Check it yourself with Test Online Booking near the bottom of Online Booking & Discover.
