If you get in touch with us about a problem, or want to check whether a new feature has reached you, it helps to know which version of NomNom you’re on. The phone app and NomNom Web each show their own version number. They’re numbered separately, so check the one you’re actually using.
In the phone app
1. Tap the menu button (three lines, top left).
2. Look at the very bottom of the menu. You’ll see something like Version 1.0.8.150.
The first three numbers (1.0.8 here) are the version shown in the App Store, Google Play and on our What’s new page. The last one is the build number. Everyone can see this, whatever their access.

In NomNom Web
1. Open Settings from the bottom of the left-hand bar or the account menu at the top right.
2. Look at the bottom left of the Settings window, under the list of settings — for example Version 1.0.0.136.
Settings is for admins only. Anyone can find the same number at the bottom of the NomNom Web sign-in page, next time they sign in. If the number doesn’t change after we’ve told you about an update, see NomNom Web looks out of date: getting the latest version.

Checking every phone at once
Admins can see which version each phone is running without picking it up.
1. Open People & Access and click a person.
2. Look under Devices. Each phone or browser they’re signed in on shows its version, for example v1.0.8.150, and the day it was last used.
It’s a quick way to spot a phone that’s fallen behind. The version shown is the one the phone had when NomNom last started on it.
In NomNom Web: account menu → People & Access → pick a person. In the phone app: Settings → People & Access → pick a person.
Good to know
- The two numbers won’t match. NomNom Web and the phone app are updated separately, so something like Version 1.0.0.136 on the web and Version 1.0.8.150 on a phone is normal.
