We update NomNom Web regularly with new features and fixes. There’s nothing to install and no "update available" message: the latest version loads whenever the page does. But a tab that’s been open for a while — all week on the front-desk computer, say — keeps running the version it started with until you reload it.
Your bookings are a different matter. The diary updates live, so new and changed bookings appear on their own. You only need to reload to pick up a new feature or fix.
Get the latest version
1. Press F5. Or click your browser’s reload button. NomNom reloads in the same tab and you stay signed in.
2. Still looks the same? Press Ctrl+F5. Hold down Ctrl and press F5. This makes your browser fetch everything afresh instead of reusing what it saved earlier. You still stay signed in.
On a Mac, press Cmd+R, then Cmd+Shift+R if it still looks old (in Safari, Option+Cmd+R).
A reload clears anything half-typed in an open window, so finish or save the booking you’re on first.
Don’t close the tab
Each NomNom Web tab has its own sign-in — it’s what lets someone with two venues keep both open side by side. Closing the tab ends that sign-in, so when you open NomNom again you’ll usually need to sign in again. (If you ticked Keep me signed in on this device, it may let you straight back in.) Reloading keeps you signed in, so always reload in the tab you’re using.
Check which version you’re running
Open Settings from the bottom of the left-hand bar or the account menu at the top right. The version is at the bottom left of the Settings window, under the list of settings — for example Version 1.0.0.136. If the number changes after a reload, you’ve got the new version.

Settings is for admins only. If you can’t open it, the version also shows at the bottom of the NomNom Web sign-in page, or ask an admin to check.
Good to know
- The phone app updates differently. It updates through the App Store or Google Play, and may show an Update available bar when a new version is out.
