Your restaurant’s name, address, phone number, website and photo are all kept in one place: Restaurant Details. Change something there and NomNom uses the new version on your booking page, in your emails and texts to guests, and on NomNom Discover. Only admins can change them.
In NomNom Web: Settings → Restaurant Details. In the phone app: Settings → Restaurant Details.
Change your name, address, phone or website
1. Open Restaurant Details. In NomNom Web, open Settings from the account menu at the top right, or from the bottom of the left-hand bar, and choose Restaurant Details.
2. Click the detail to change. Under RESTAURANT you’ll see Name, Address, Postcode, Phone and Website. Anything not filled in says Not set.
3. Type the new value and click Save. It saves straight away; there’s no other Save button.
Change your restaurant photo
1. Click the picture under RESTAURANT IMAGE. If you haven’t added one yet, it says Tap to set restaurant image.
2. Choose Select Photo and pick an image. In the phone app you can also choose Take Photo.
3. That’s it. The photo uploads straight away. Click it again for View Photo, or Clear Photo to remove it.
The photo is shown as a wide banner and trimmed to fit, so a landscape shot with the important part in the middle works best.
Where each detail shows up
- Name: the top of your booking page and gift voucher page, your confirmation emails (the sender reads, for example, The Red Lion via NomNom), the start of NomNom’s standard texts, your NomNom Discover page, and the top of NomNom Web and the phone app.
- Address and postcode: your booking page. Your address also shows on your Discover page. Confirmation emails don’t include it unless you add it to your own wording (see Customising your confirmation emails).
- Phone: your booking page and Discover page, the contact details at the end of every confirmation email, and the standard texts, which ask guests to call it to make changes.
- Website: a link on your booking page and Discover page.
- Photo: the banner at the top of your booking page, the header of your confirmation emails, your gift voucher page and voucher emails, your Discover page, and the top of the phone app’s menu.
Good to know
- Your booking page updates when you save. A new name, address, phone or website shows on your booking page once it’s saved. A guest who already has the page open sees it when they refresh.
- Your links don’t change. Your booking link and your Discover page’s web address stay the same when you rename, so anything you’ve shared keeps working.
- Renamed and listed on Discover? Your Discover listing takes the new name too. Your Discover town is set separately from your address: in Settings → Online Booking & Discover, under LISTING DETAILS, click Town or city.
- Moved premises? The map on your Discover page is placed from your Google listing when you signed up, and doesn’t move when you change your address here. If you’ve moved, let us know.
- Texts. The name your texts come from is your Sender ID, which doesn’t change when you rename (see Texting guests and managing SMS credits). A name longer than about 50 characters can make each standard text cost 2 credits.
- On Reserve with Google? Changes reach Google with the nightly update. Google matches you to your Google listing by name and address, so keep them the same as your Google Business Profile (see Getting the Reserve button on Google (Reserve with Google)). Changing them here doesn’t change your Google listing.
