The Guest Summary puts a whole month on one landscape sheet: every day across the top, your meals down the side, and a grid for each area, with totals for each day, each meal and the month. It counts guests (covers) or the number of bookings. If you’ve come from e-Res, this is its report of the same name.
Print it from NomNom Web
1. Open Reports. Click the printer icon in the top bar, Reports & printing. In a narrow window it’s in the More menu (the three dots) instead.
2. Pick Guest Summary under Report.
3. Choose the month. It starts on the month of the day you were looking at. Use the arrows under Month to move back or forward.
4. Choose what to count. Under Show, pick Guests for covers or Bookings for the number of bookings.
5. Print or save it. The report appears on the right. Click Print, or Download to save it as a PDF.
In NomNom Web: Reports & printing (printer icon, top bar) → Guest Summary. In the phone app: menu → Reports → Guests.
In the phone app
Open the menu, tap Reports, then Guests along the top. It starts on the current month; use the arrows either side of the month to change it. Switch between Guests and Bookings at the bottom of the screen. To print or send it on, tap the three dots at the top right, then Print or Share.
Reading the grid
- The top line gives the month’s guests and bookings, the average party size and the busiest day, whichever you chose to show.
- One grid per area, in the same order as your areas, with the day and date across the top. Saturday and Sunday are shaded.
- A row for each meal, earliest first, so lunch sits above dinner. A blank square means nothing was booked.
- Total at the end of each row is that meal for the whole month, and the Total row underneath adds up each day.
- All rooms — if more than one area had bookings that month, a last grid adds them all together.
What’s counted
- Every booking for a date in the month, however it was made, walk-ins included.
- Cancelled bookings are left out. No-shows are still counted, because they were booked. For your no-show rate, see Reading your monthly Insights.
- Guests means adults plus children, the same as covers everywhere else in NomNom. The figures follow the same rules as Insights, so the two agree.
Good to know
- The same meal in two areas? Each area’s grid has its own row for it, and All rooms adds them together on one row.
- Unspecified and Unassigned. Bookings with no meal go on an Unspecified row. If some bookings have no area, they get a grid of their own headed Unassigned.
- A quiet month? A month with no bookings prints No bookings this month.
- The current month so far. Pick this month and you’ll see everything booked in it, including dates still to come.
