NomNom can show its screens in English, Spanish, French, German or Welsh. The choice belongs to the device, not your account: each computer and phone can use its own language, so one member of staff can work in Welsh while another stays in English.
In NomNom Web: account menu (top right) → Language. In the phone app: Settings → Language.
The languages
You can choose English, Spanish, French, German or Welsh. In the list, each one appears under its own name with its flag — German as Deutsch and Welsh as Cymraeg, for example — so you can find yours whatever language the screen is in at the time.
Change the language in NomNom Web
1. Open the account menu. Click your name (or initials) at the top right.
2. Click Language. Everyone can use it, whatever their role.
3. Pick a language. Choose language lists them, with a tick next to the one you’re using. Click another and NomNom Web changes straight away. There’s nothing to save.
Change the language in the phone app
Open Settings and tap Language under GENERAL SETTINGS. It shows the language you’re using now. Tap it, pick a language and the app changes straight away. Before you’ve signed in, you can also pick one on the welcome screen.
Good to know
- Until you choose, NomNom follows your device. A computer or phone set to one of these five languages starts in it. Anything else starts in English.
- In NomNom Web, it’s per browser. Every tab in that browser uses the same language, as does anyone else who uses that browser on that computer.
- Lost in a language you don’t read? The menu entry is Idioma in Spanish, Langue in French, Sprache in German and Iaith in Welsh, next to a globe.
- Only your own screens change. Your booking page, and the emails and texts your guests receive, stay as they are. See Is my booking page available in other languages?.
- A few screens are still in English, mostly settings, whichever language you pick.
- The NomNom dashboard at nomnom-app.net/admin is in English only.
