Online booking doesn’t have to be all or nothing. You might keep the private dining room for enquiries, stop taking Sunday lunch online, hold back the window tables or close your booking page for one busy evening. There’s a switch for each. None of them stops your team: bookings you take yourself in NomNom Web or the phone app can still use everything.

A whole area
Under Areas, turn off the area’s Online switch. The area and its tables disappear from your booking page, along with the meals it serves.
In NomNom Web: Configuration → Areas → Online. In the phone app: Configuration → Areas → tap the area → Online Booking.
A meal in one area
Open the meal under Meals and turn off Bookable online on its Details tab. Meals are set up per area, so this only affects the area you picked in the ROOM row. If Lunch runs in two areas and should be off online in both, switch it off in each.
In NomNom Web: Configuration → Meals → pick the area → click the meal → Bookable online. In the phone app: Configuration → Meals → pick the area → tap the meal → Bookable Online.
A single time
Under Times, turn off the time’s WEB switch. To do several at once, tick them, click Modify and choose Disable web booking.
Watch which list you’re on. A time on All rooms (default) is shared by every area that doesn’t have its own times, so switching it off there takes it off in all of them. To take a time off in one area only, give that area its own times first — see Different booking times for different rooms.
In NomNom Web: Configuration → Times → WEB. In the phone app: Configuration → Times → tap the time → Online Booking.
A table or table group
Under Tables, turn off the table’s WEB switch, or click the table and turn off Online booking. Online guests are then never given that table, though they can still book a time when another table is free.
A table group has its own Online booking switch, under Table groups. Switching a table off doesn’t switch off the groups it belongs to, so check those too.
In NomNom Web: Configuration → Tables (or Table groups) → WEB. In the phone app: Configuration → Tables → tap the table → Online Booking.
Just for one date
1. Open Schedule changes and pick the date on the calendar.
2. Click New change and choose Disable online booking.
3. Choose when. All Day; From Time, which covers that time and every time after it; or Between two times, which includes both of them.
4. Choose where. If you have more than one area, tick the ones it’s for under Applies to. Leave All Rooms ticked for the whole venue.
5. Click Save. You can add more than one on the same date — lunch off in the Garden and the evening off everywhere, say.
In NomNom Web: More (top bar) → Schedule changes → New change → Disable online booking. In the phone app: menu → Schedule Changes → Add Schedule Change → Disable Online Booking.
Good to know
- Reserve with Google follows the same switches as your booking page.
- Certain days of the week. To keep a table off online on some days, see Choosing when each table can be booked. To save big tables for bigger parties, see Keeping big tables for bigger parties online.
- Modify times wins for its date. On a date where you’ve used Modify times, each custom time’s ONLINE switch decides, even if the meal’s Bookable online is off. If the meal should stay off online that day, switch its custom times off too. An area with its Online switch off stays off, whatever its custom times say.
- Renamed an area? A Disable online booking change that names it follows the new name, so there’s nothing to redo.
- Nothing showing at all? If everything ends up switched off, your booking page has nothing to offer. See My venue isn’t showing availability online.
