Showing times in 24-hour format and choosing the week start on your booking page

Your online booking page starts out showing times the 12-hour way, such as 7:00 PM, with each week of its calendar starting on Monday. If your guests would rather read 19:00, or you’d like the calendar to start on a Sunday, you can change both in Booking Page Date & Time. Only admins can change them.

Show 24-hour times

1. Open Booking Page Date & Time. In NomNom Web, open Settings from the account menu (top right) or the bottom of the left-hand bar, then choose Booking Page Date & Time under GENERAL SETTINGS.

2. Click Time format. A list pops up with 12-hour (7:30 pm) and 24-hour (19:30). The one in use has a tick.

3. Choose 24-hour (19:30). It saves straight away; there’s no Save button.

NomNom Web Settings open on Booking Page Date & Time, with Time format set to 24-hour (19:30) and Calendar starts on set to Monday

Your booking page now lists times as 18:00, 18:30, 19:00 and so on. That includes the Bookings from times under each meal and the time in the guest’s booking summary.

In NomNom Web: Settings → Booking Page Date & Time → Time format. In the phone app: Settings → Booking Page Date & Time → Time format.

Choose the first day of the week

1. Click Calendar starts on. It’s on the same Booking Page Date & Time page, under CALENDAR.

2. Pick a day. Choose any day from Monday to Sunday. The calendar where guests choose their date then starts each week on that day.

Good to know

  • These are for your guests. Both settings change your online booking page only. They don’t change how times look in NomNom Web, in the phone app or in your confirmation emails.
  • Wherever guests book online. The change shows on your booking link and on the booking form on your own website, if you’ve added one (see Putting the booking form on your own website). A guest who already has the page open sees it next time they load it.
  • One setting for the whole venue. It isn’t tied to you or your device, so changing it in the phone app changes it for NomNom Web too. If you run several venues, each has its own.
  • Your booking times don’t move. Only the way times are written changes. The times you offer stay exactly as you set them in Creating meals and your booking times.
