Can I change my booking page colours or send guests to my own website?

There’s no colour setting in NomNom for your booking page: it uses NomNom’s own clean design. You can change the picture and words at the top of the page yourself, and our team can set up two more things for you on request: your own colours, and sending guests to your own website.

What you can change yourself

1. Open your booking page settings. In NomNom Web, open Settings from the account menu (top right) or the button at the bottom of the left-hand bar, then choose Online Booking & Discover. Settings is for admins only.

2. Set your header image. Under HEADER IMAGE, click the picture and choose Select Photo. Then set Display: Photo fills the top of the page and is cropped to fit, so it suits a wide photo; Logo shows the whole image on a plain band.

3. For a logo, pick the band colour. With Logo chosen, Background sets the colour behind it: Match my logo, White, Cream, Light grey or Dark. Show restaurant name decides whether your name appears too.

4. Write your heading and description. Heading and Description, under YOUR RESTAURANT at the top of the same page, are what guests read about you.

In NomNom Web: Settings → Online Booking & Discover → HEADER IMAGE. In the phone app: Settings → Online Booking & Discover → HEADER IMAGE.

Your own colours, on request

If you’d like your booking page in your own colours, our team can set four of them for you: the page background, the main text, and the background and text of the information panels — your contact details, menus, social links and terms. Email support@nomnom-app.net with the colour codes you’d like, such as #7A1F2B. For anything beyond those four, such as a different font, ask and we’ll tell you what’s possible.

These colours are for the booking page itself. They don’t carry over to your NomNom Discover page, to the booking form on your own website or to your emails, and they don’t show if your booking link opens the newer page in the NomNom Discover style.

Sending guests to your own website

If your own website has the booking form on it (see Putting the booking form on your own website), we can make your booking link forward to that page. Everyone who opens your link — from Google, Instagram, an old email or a printed QR code — then books on your website. Before you ask:

  • Treat it as permanent. Browsers remember the forward, so a guest who has used your link once may keep going to your website even if we later switch it off. Only ask once your page is working.
  • Event bookings still land on the right event. The Book now buttons on your event pages keep opening NomNom’s booking page.

Just Instagram? If your Instagram bio still has your booking link and you’d rather those visitors saw your website, we can forward only them: anyone tapping the link inside Instagram goes to your website, and everyone else still gets your booking page. This one is easy to switch off again, so it suits a stopgap while you update your bio.

To ask for either, email support@nomnom-app.net with the address of the page guests should land on.

Good to know

  • You can do it the other way round yourself. Share your website’s address instead of your booking link, and put the booking form or a Reserve a Table button on your site.
  • Your website is already on your booking page. The address in Restaurant Details → Website shows under Contact Us.
  • The Reserve a Table button picks its own colour. The ready-made button for your website matches your site or takes a colour you choose; it doesn’t need ours.
  • Allow a few minutes. Once we’ve made a change, give it about ten minutes before you check.
