The difference between the two is structural rather than featural: NomNom is a flat monthly fee for a booking system you point your own guests at, and OpenTable is a subscription plus a fee for every cover its marketplace sends you.

NomNom
One plan, one published price, everything in: commission-free booking on your own branded page, Stripe deposits and card holds, SMS reminders, an allergy-aware guest database, gift vouchers, multiple venues and unlimited devices. No contract, no setup fee, 14-day free trial. The honest gap is discovery: there is no diner marketplace.
OpenTable
The big marketplace name, with genuine discovery reach. The model is a subscription plus a fee for every cover that arrives through OpenTable itself; bookings you take on your own site are not charged per cover. The UK site shows "Contact us for pricing" on both its Core and Pro plans, so there is no published pound figure.
So which should you choose?
If you want a number you can budget around, NomNom publishes one and OpenTable does not — its UK plans both say "Contact us for pricing". If you want a discovery network, we do not have one and OpenTable has one of the biggest, which is a genuine reason to choose them. The honest test is to look at last year's bookings and ask how many came from people who already knew you. If it is most of them, a per-cover fee is buying you something you were getting for free.
