Starting a new season by copying your times

Seasonal time lists let you keep a separate set of booking times for, say, summer or the Christmas period (see Creating meals and your booking times for the basics). Building a new season used to mean starting with an empty list — now you can copy an existing one as your starting point and just change what differs.

Copy times into a new season

When you add a season, you'll see a Copy times from option. Choose Default or any existing season, and the new season is created with a complete copy of that source's times.

In NomNom Web: open the account menu (top-right) → Configuration → Times → the Default / season selector → add a season → Copy times from.

On the mobile app: open Configuration → Times and use Copy times from when adding a season.

What gets copied

  • Every meal's times, including day settings and capacity.
  • Per-room time lists, if you use different times for different rooms.

One-off events aren't copied — they belong to their specific dates, not to a season.

After copying

The new season is completely independent — change whatever you like and the season you copied from is unaffected. A typical summer season might start as a copy of Default with an extra evening sitting added and Sunday lunch extended.
