PL28 Cafe

Born from a love of place and produce, PL28 Café is the latest venture from chef Thomas Hine — a homecoming project bringing world-class cooking back to his roots on the North Cornish coast.

By day, we're a relaxed neighbourhood café serving breakfast, brunch and the finest Cornish coffee. By night, we transform into an intimate chef's table supper club, where Thomas crafts seasonal menus celebrating the very best ingredients from across the South West.

A true family affair, PL28 Café is run with passion, precision and a deep connection to Padstow and its community. Thomas brings with him a wealth of experience from some of the UK's most celebrated kitchens — including Gidleigh Park, the Bath Priory and Lympstone Manor — and is joined by his cousin Will front of house and his brother Fred in the kitchen.
